How a chemical free skincare start-up came to life in a studio apartment

Welcome to The Tallow Studio—Founded by Aaron Morgia, a health and wellness junkie. Aaron has always known that he wanted more than what corporate America could provide for himself and family. He never really knew what that would be until his girlfriend Ally gave him the idea to make their own tallow balms to save some coin. His mind went right to not only making for themselves but to deliver the clean skincare to other locals in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. So, out of his studio apartment, he started experimenting and selling to neighbors for a few months and getting feedback on the products. Over the course of many months and late nights he implemented local feedback and crafted a product worth lathering onto your skin! His goal of spreading wellness awareness to the masses means that everyone deserves clean skincare, so this local idea evolved into wanting to make The Tallow Studio available online as well so more people could switch to non-toxic skincare. After nailing down the recipes and creating seven products Aaron shifted to building the brand identity....he knows the importance of strong branding so he worked tirelessly with a talented graphic designer to create a brand and packaging that you want to see on your bathroom countertop.
